I was listening to economist Tyler Cowen in an interview (I honestly don’t remember which one, maybe Tim Ferriss?) and he asked an insanely awesome question, “What do you do to restore lost focus?”
Whoever the host was (pretty sure, Tim Ferriss?) for the first time in the episode they had to give pause and really think.
Stop reading this. Ask yourself, “what do you do to restore lost focus?”
The question is great because it picks on your focus system. Do even have a focus system? Everyone loses focus but what’s your playbook to refocus? There are short-term considerations but also long-term environmental considerations.
